St Kitts & Nevis Overview
Saint Kitts and Nevis consists of two islands. The two islands are just a few miles apart, and the scenic Pinney’s Beach alone makes a visit to Nevis a must. The islands are St. Kitts (sometimes called St. Christopher) and Nevis. The islands lie about 190 miles east of Puerto Rico.
The waters around the islands are littered with wrecks, many of which are hundreds of years old. Visibility is excellent, particularly on Coconut Tree Reef and Monkey Reef, and the numerous beginners and intermediate dive sites are known for their thriving coral beds and the regular appearance of stingray, turtles, and lizard fish.
The average temperature for both islands is 78 °F (25 °C). With the annual rainfall being on average 55 inches per year.
