Cayman Islands Overview

Cayman an overseas territory of the United Kingdom lies about 200 miles northwest of Jamaica in the Caribbean Sea. The three islands that form the group are Grand Cayman, Little Cayman, and Cayman Brac which cover about 100 square miles. Capital and largest city, George Town, lies on Grand Cayman, the largest island.

The Cayman Islands offers much more than the gentle splendours of sun, sand and sea. Plunge the depths aboard the Atlantis Deep Dive Submarine, or explore the natural treasures on a hike along the Mastic Trail on Grand Cayman, a stroll through Booby Pond Nature Reserve in Little Cayman, or a visit to the Brac Parrot Reserve, where you can glimpse the rare Cayman Brac parrot.

CLIMATE

The Cayman Islands has a warm, tropical climate throughout the year. High temperatures are moderated by trade winds. The rainy season is from May to October. The hurricane season is starts from June and goes through to November.
