	SANDWICH ISLANDS Overseas territory of the United Kingdom.

	SAINT KITTS & NEVIS SAINT LUCIA

	SAINT PIERRE & MIQUELON Visa requirements are the same as France.

	SAINT VINCENT & GRENADINES Visas are not required to visit Saint Vincent & Grenadines and except for citizens of the USA, Canada, and the United Kingdom, all travellers must have a valid passports plus a return or ongoing ticket.

	SAMOA No entry permit is required for travellers staying up to 30 days, however, an onward or return ticket and valid passport are required. If you intend on staying more than 30 days you can extend your permit by applying to the immigration office.

	SAN MARINO Visa requirements are the same as Italy.

	SAO TOME & PRINCIPE Visas are issued on arrival for all foreign nationalities.

	SAUDI ARABIA Tourist visas are required by all foreign nationals unless you are from a GCC country or are in transit. You must also have six months validity left on your visa. Visas can be obtained from the Saudi embassy or consulate in your country of origin.

	SCHENGEN COUNTRIES With the introduction of the Schengen visa travelling around Europe has been simplified. This is made up of 15 Schengen countries who are: Austria, Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Iceland, Italy, Greece, Luxembourg, Netherlands, Norway, Portugal, Spain and Sweden. With a Schengen visa, you may enter one country and travel freely throughout the Schengen zone.

	SENEGAL SERBIA & MONTENEGRO

	SEYCHELLES No visa is required to enter the Seychelles. You will be required to have a valid passport, a return ticket and a hotel reservation which you will need to present to the immigration officer on arrival at the airport.

	SIERRA LEONE All foreign nationals except members of ECOWAS require a visa to visit Sierra Leone.

	SINGAPORE Most western nationalities will not require a visa before travelling to Singapore, you will be issued one on arrival valied for either 14 or 30 days. Nationals from: Afghanistan, Algeria, Bangladesh, Egypt, India, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Morocco, Myanmar, People’s Republic of China, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia and Yemen are required to organise a visa in advance.

	SLOVAKIA

	SLOVENIA Most nationalities do not require a visa to travel to Slovenia. The following nationalities will be required to hold an airport transit visa, which allows you to stay in the international transit area of airports but not to enter the country. Afghanistan, Bangladesh, Congo (Democratic Republic), Eritrea, Ethiopia, Ghana, Iran, Iraq, Nigeria, Pakistan, Somalia and Sri Lanka.

	SOLOMON ISLANDS

	SOMALIA Everyone requires a visa to enter Somalia. You can get a visa at the border, but it would be best to get one before arriving in the country.

	SOUTH AFRICA SOUTH KOREA SPAIN SRI LANKA

	SUDAN Visas are required by all foreign nationalities, and are valid for one month. Permits are required by anyone wishing to travel anywhere outside Khartoum. Evidence of a previous visit to Israel will result in a visa refusal.

	SURINAME SWAZILAND SWEDEN

	SWITERLAND If you intend to stay in Switzerland for more than 90 days you will require a visa. If you intend to stay for three months or less you are only required to have a valid passport. This applies to citizens of the following: countries of the American Continent (except Belize, Dominican Republic, Haiti, and Peru), Europe, Japan, Australia and New Zealand. All other countries will require a visa.

	SYRIA Unless you are from an Arab nation you will require a visa. Tourist visas are valid for 15 days and must be used within one month of the date of issue. You must apply for a visa in your country of origin before you travel. If however your country does not have a Syrian embassy you can get a visa issued at the border. Any evidence of a visit to Israel will automatically deny you entrance to Syria.
