KUWAIT
Nationals of the Gulf Cooperation Council states (GCC -- Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, Qatar, the United Arab Emirates and the Sultanate of Oman) do not require an entry visas. American citizens, with a valid U.S. passport, who wish to travel to Kuwait can now obtain visa at any port of entry in the country.
All other foreign nationals require an entry visas which can be obtained from Kuwaiti embassies and consulates in your country of origin or through a sponsor in Kuwait or from the Ministry of the Interior.
Transit visas are also required and are valid for a maximum stay of 72 hours. In addition to the general requirements, applicants for a transit visa will also require: A copy of travel tickets confirming date of arrival, departure and carrier flight numbers and a copy of the visa for entry into the final destination country if one is required. |
