Tourist visas are valid for six months from the date of issue, if you apply in a country other than your home country a telex charge is applied to your application. If you intend to stay in India for longer than six months, you will need to leave the country and apply for another visa. Getting another visa after you have had two in a row may prove a little difficult. Transit visas are issued for a maximum period of 15 days with single/double entry facilities to transit passengers only.         INDONESIA         IRAN Visas are required by all foreign nationals except citizens of Bosnia-Herzegovina, Croatia, Saudi Arabia and Turkey (for a stay not exceeding three months). Requirements are subject to change at short notice, and you are advised to contact the appropriate embassy or consular section in your country of origin.         IRAQ Entry and exit to Iraq is controlled by American forces at this time.         IRELAND ISRAEL         IVORY COAST (COTE D'IVOIRE) Visas are not required for stays of up to 90 days by most nationalities including Australia, USA and the United Kingdom. If you are visiting other countries in the area you can apply for the Tourist Visa Agreement (VTE). This visa is only valid for one month for two of the countries Benin, Cote d`ivoire, Niger and Togo.
