Citizens from East African countries do not require a visa nor entry permit to enter the United Republic of Tanzania.
If you are from a country where there is no Tanzania Embassy or High Commission to issue a visa, you can travel to Tanzania and obtain visa at one of the four point of entries which are as follows:
Dar-es-Salaam International Airport,
Kilimanjaro International Airport,
Zanzibar International Airport,
Namanga boarder crossing point, between Tanzania and Kenya.
This rule does not apply to all as the following nationalities will not be granted a visa on arrival. Afghanistan, All West African countries, Bangladesh, Egypt, Eritrea, Ethiopia, Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Morocco, Pakistan, Saudi Arabia, Somalia, Sri Lanka, Sudan, Syria, Tunisia, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, and Yemen. |
