Foreign nationals holding the following passports may enter the Dominican Republic without a visa but will require a tourist card. Often these will be included with your airline ticket, otherwise they can be purchased upon arrival at the airport for $10. The card allows you to remain in the country for a maximum of 90 days (single entry).

  The Dominican Republic requires that minors under 13 years of age travelling alone or with anyone other than a parent must present written authorization from a parent or legal guardian. This authorization must be notarized at a Dominican consulate in the destination country. Without this authorization, the child won’t be able to leave the country.
