SITUATED on the banks of the river clyde, Glasgow is Scotland's largest city. Over the last decade Glasgow's reputation has been blemished with its heavy drinking and violent culture. Only in the last couple of years has the city undergone a change of image providing a new spirit to its residents and visitors alike.

With plenty of attractions to visit there is always something on offer to suit most tastes. If you decide to get out of the city, Glasgow is perfectly located to visit the Queen Elizabeth National Park including Loch Lomond or the Lennox Hills, north of Glasgow.

With plenty of things to discover in and around the city, Glasgow is a destination that shouldn't go unmissed.

If you are looking for a hotel, hostel or want some ideas for a day out you can easily do so by clicking on the links above. The directory will show you what restaurants, nightclubs, theatres etc can be found in the local area, as well as car hire companies and local taxi firms.
