BEING home to Scotland's capital. Edinburgh has a well deserved reputation for being a cosmopolitan city. Built around the old town, Edinburgh Castle offers a focal point to the city, perched on its rock the castle provides some spectacular views across the city.
Although the city has a relatively small population, this swells during the summer months and peaks during the Edinburgh Fringe festival, the largest arts event in Europe.
With many different tastes catered for, Edinburgh's nightlife can only be described as energetic. If you venture into one of Edinburgh's many cafes or bars you will always find a pleasant atmosphere to enjoy a drink or chat in.
