TORQUAY with its sheltered climate, white painted villas and sub tropical plants has earned its title of the 'English Riviera'.
From the headland, you have superb views out across Tor Bay and inland to the town. Although packed during the summer months, there are plenty of attractions on offer, such as Aqualand, Torre Abbey Gardens and the Torquay Museum. Which makes Torquay a destination to be enjoyed all year round.
Torquay is also ideally situated to explore the Dartmoor National Park, where you can take in sights such as Castle Drogo, Becky Falls and the Holden Hills and with a nightlife that offers a relaxed atmosphere is a destination that shouldn't be overlooked.
If you are looking for a hotel, hostel or want some ideas for a day out you can easily do so by clicking on the links above. The directory will show you what restaurants, nightclubs, theatres etc can be found in the local area, as well as car hire companies and local taxi firms.
