SITUATED around its attractive fishing port on the Cornish coast, St Ives is an artist's paradise with quaint houses lining narrow streets and alleys underneath the 120ft tower of the 15th century church.
Although popular all year round, St Ives is a destination to be enjoyed during the summer months where surfing can be enjoyed on one of the three sandy beaches, and if you tire of the sea views there is plenty of art on offer, with one of the best galleries being the Tate Gallery, which houses a collection of paintings from the St Ives School.
With plenty on offer and a quiet nightlife you may find yourself not wanting to leave.
If you are looking for a hotel, hostel or want some ideas for a day out you can easily do so by clicking on the links above. The directory will show you what restaurants, nightclubs, theatres etc can be found in the local area, as well as car hire companies and local taxi firms.
