SITUATED in the heart of the Lake District, near the shores of Lake Derwent Water, which is also known as the Queen of the Lakes, Keswick is close to some of the Lake District's finest scenery.
Surrounded by beautiful lakes and mountains, Keswick is an ideal base for exploring the National Park, where you can take in sights such as the Cumbrian Mountains, the Derwent Fells or Skiddaw, situated to the north. Other attractions you shouldn't miss, include The Castlerigg Stone Circle and The Bowder Stone, situated south of Keswick.
