Narrow isle on-board wheelchairs are available on most flights and the airline will carry your manual/electric wheelchair (with dry cell batteries) in the hold, and allow guide dogs to travel. Additional oxygen can be supplied, although advance notice is required. The airline will also allow you to carry battery operated nebulizers and other medical equipment. |

Cathay Pacific Airways
Medical clearance is not required unless you are a health risk. The airline advises passengers with disabilities to be accompanied by another person. Cathay Pacific run a wheelchair “meet and assist” scheme and will carry your manual/electric wheelchair (with dry cell batteries) in the hold, but are unable to carry guide dogs. The larger aircraft also have wide on-board toilets. The airline can cater for a wide variety of dietary requirements, plus additional oxygen can be supplied, although advance notice is required. |
